The 2011 bluefin tuna charter season in North Lake, Prince Edward Island, with Tony’s Tuna Fishing was another very successful year! The giant bluefin tuna hook-ups this season year ranged from 600-1200 lbs - on a daily basis.

As many of you are already aware by following our Facebook page, we had a great bluefin fishing charter with the gang from Bloodydecks and Brandon from Okuma last summer. It was an absolute blast.

Although the commercial lobster season continues to drag on here in June, we are already getting geared up for another exciting season of bluefin tuna fishing here in PE.

Gearing up for the upcoming PEI bluefin tuna charter season continues here at Tony's Tuna Fishing. We have some nice hardware to add to those sexy rods we received from BDOutdoors now.

So, we have the rods, we have the reels, now we have the Cadillac of fighting chairs.

It is tough to compare against last July when we witnessed a high level of bluefin tuna action for so early in the season. We were literally feeding the tuna from the boat from the first day of charters right up until the early weeks of October.

We are excited to welcome two more top bluefin tuna captains to the Tony's Tuna Fishing banner.

August, 2012, was a successful month of giant bluefin tuna fishing as well for the Tony's Tuna Fishing fleet on Prince Edward Island.
